- Equality NC Comments on Proposed Federal Hospital Visitation Updates - 9/1/2010 - Earlier this year President Obama cited the visitation provision of the NC Hospital Patients' Bill of Rights – which Equality NC proposed and got adopted by the state in 2008 – to use as a model for revising federal standards. Equality NC was invited to comment on the formal proposed changes to the national policy.
- And The Award Goes To ... - 8/19/2010 - Equality NC Foundation is seeking nominations for its very first Equality Champion Awards, to be presented to individuals from across the state who are making important contributions to the LGBT equality movement in North Carolina.

- 09/19/07 AAUW.org now provides a news feed. - With the Sept. 17 launch of the new www.aauw.org, there is now an RSS feed directly on the national site. This feed at bbvx.org will be phased out. Please change your links now.
- 09/07/07 LAF plaintiff travel grant applications due Oct. 15 - LAF awards a limited number of grants to fund travel for LAF plaintiffs to speak at state and regional AAUW meetings.
- 09/03/07 AAUW begins search for new Executive Director - Members and non-members are encouraged to review the position profile and encourage excellent candidates to apply.
